Buy Sell Impact – Real Estate for Good

Have you ever wanted to do more with your real estate business? Not more as in more volume or higher dollar transactions – who doesn’t want that? More as in giving back to the community and helping others. That is the premise of the new real estate brokerage called Buy Sell Impact. This brokerage is owned by four local non-profit agencies – REACH Pikes Peak, the Energy Resource Center, the Children’s Literacy Center and the Colorado Springs Conservatory. Every dollar of profit goes to these charities to further their missions right here in the Pikes Peak region. That doesn’t mean that the company’s broker associates don’t earn a fair commission! There is plenty to go around in this business model.

Buy a Home. Sell a Home. Make an Impact. It is a simple concept. When a BSI client buys or sells, an impact is made via the portion of the commission split that goes to the charity owners.

This unique idea was the brainstorm of John Tighe, CEO of REACH Pikes Peak and Bryan Seale, the Employing Broker at Buy Sell Impact. John, a former real estate brokerage owner/agent, was looking for new unrestricted funding methods for REACH Pikes Peak. Bryan had worked with John previously in a real estate brokerage and was on the Board of Directors for REACH Pikes Peak. The idea took several years to develop and required the right combination of personalities amongst the non-profit owners and the two managing brokers.

“I’ve always had a passion for supporting local non-profits. Merging that passion with my career in real estate was a natural fit, says Bryan Seale, Employing Broker for Buy Sell Impact. “I think there are a lot of agents out there with similar passions. We’d love to have them explore joining Buy Sell Impact. We see a bright future in store for this brokerage. We want to grow this business so that we can help as many people in the community as we can.”
Others are starting to take notice of this business model. Buy Sell Impact was nominated as “Social Impact Startup of the Year for 2017,” an award given by the Southern Colorado Better Business Bureau. Buy Sell Impact was also a finalist in two categories – Independent Real Estate Brokerage and Relocation Office – in the 2017 Best of the Springs competition. Discussions have started about franchising the brokerage and opening offices in other markets.
Stewart Title applauds the efforts of Buy Sell Impact to help create a better community through their daily real estate business practices.

Much like Buy Sell Impact, Stewart Title gives Colorado Springs residents more than just title insurance. We understand why families buy, sell and invest in the Pikes Peak region. Our mission is to provide products and services designed to cultivate a thriving real estate industry and to create a customer experience 2nd to none. Stewart Title has worked with CASA, Rotary and YOT, just to name a few. We have found that to be innovative across industry platforms can enhance our community and create possibilities that we wouldn’t have without partnership and community focus.
